This is heaven and home! I have been several times for yoga training and it is excellent! Picture an open sided thatched roof stidio, constant surf sound, small village and the best teachers, bar none! Come once and you'll be back!
Great place... So close to everything, very nice staff.... The only thing is it's s bit difficult to drive to... But it's view, beautiful pool, and lovely rooms make up for it... A must stay to visit the area...
Fabulous views and pool . Being on a hill above the main street brings a sea-breeze which is most welcome since all the places on the beach are hot and oppressive most of the day . Remember that this area is recovering from hurricane damage (May 2022) and its a Mexican beachfront town so don't expect too much in the way of luxuries and facilities. Tres Marias opens its restaurant for breakfast when they are busy but not when it's quiet. We had a fridge in the room (great) and a nice fan with a/c for an additional $200 per day (never used) . Mosquito net over the bed was necessary. Hot water fails sometimes but ask Ramon or Julio (Spanish only) and they'll fix it for you . Wi-fi rarely failed. Nearby shops and restaurants are handy for water,beer and general bits and pieces although some might find the walk a bit steep/uneven. ATM in village or Mazunte , 15 minute walk. Really quiet at night (rare in Mexico) and owner Fernando is friendly and helpful (Spanish only). We stayed for two sublime weeks here.
Nicest accommodation we've had on our trip! We had a cabana with a big balcony and a hammock with amazing sea view. The pool was great as well, perfect for chilling in the evenings with a panoramic view of the sea. All the employees were really nice, Julio especially was helpful with so many things. Would definitely come back.
Great location and service. Looking a little shabby though ... tiles falling off in the pool. Restaurant and bar not open.
